Who We Are
MCFION Lighting by LUNA began in 2005 as a small team solving one problem at a time — a transformer here, a ballast there — for clients who simply needed lighting that worked. Two decades later, we design and manufacture magnetic track systems, modular fixtures, and commercial lighting for architects, designers, and specifiers across the world.
What hasn't changed is how we start every project: by listening. We translate a client's brief — the mood, the material, the budget, the deadline — into fixtures made with fine-selected materials and experienced assembly, built to last.

Company History
Two decades of steady, deliberate growth — not a straight line, but always in one direction: toward lighting that's better engineered and more honestly made.
We started small: electronic transformers for halogen lamps, and electronic ballasts for fluorescent lighting. The fundamentals of reliable, well-engineered electronics — still at the core of every driver we build today.
We expanded into MR16 fluorescent lamps and T4/T5 fixtures, and opened our first international storefront — KIN YIP LIGHTING LIMITED, a showroom in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, steps from MTR Mong Kok Station Exit A. It's still open today.
A larger production facility gave us room to grow the range: LED T5/T8 fixtures, LED bulbs, 3U lamps, ceiling lights, downlights, and spotlights.
LED drivers, panel lights, track lighting, and outdoor fixtures — the building blocks of the modular systems we design today.
Linear office pendants, LED strip lighting, wall and decorative fixtures, control systems, in-house lighting design services, magnetic track systems, and fully custom projects — the years our commercial lighting practice took shape.
